WIAW – March 27

Breakfast: liver(!), bacon, mushrooms, onions, and a mix of squash, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. I also had orange juice with maca powder, a B vitamin supplement, and a cup of bone broth (not pictured).

Lunch: I forgot to take a picture! Crap. I had the sameΒ mix of squash, potatoes, and sweet potatoes, now topped with arugala, asparagus, mushrooms and a little shredded chicken. I also had some green tea with honey.

After getting my allergy shots, I did some dinner shopping at Whole Foods and left with some pumpkin seeds and a ginger kombucha for a snack. yummmmmmmm…

Dinner was a delicious bison steak (well, half of one) with bok choy, broccolini, and some awesome fermented veggies.

I bought the cabbage, beet, ginger, pear combo for my first try of wildbrine fermented veggies. They were amazing! I can’t wait to try the other combos.

WIAW – March 6

Here’s what I ate today…

I was running a little late this morning, so breakfast was smoked salmon and some steamed potatoes (which I ate on my way to work).

I barely remembered to grab a pic of lunch, but I had some cauliflower rice, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, and onion.

For dinner I had cauliflower rice with roasted veggies (sweet potato, butternut squash, onions, mushrooms, red and purple potatoes) and broccolini.

And, snacks were candied ginger (yum!), a banana (not pictured), and chips (bad…).

I also had to sample some of my shipment from US Wellness Meats, which arrived today. This is the best beef jerky I have ever had.

WIAW – February 27

Breakfast: bone broth, sauerkraut, chicken, and orange juice. I have recently become OBSESSED with orange juice. I can’t stop drinking it.

Today I snacked on more cuties(!), a banana, and the most amazing plantain chips in the entire world (from this recipe at thepaleomom.com).

WIAW – February 13

Today was a “special” day for me with food. I started my morning with some leftover butternut squash lasagna, a marshmallow, and some blueberries, followed by coffee with coconut oil.

And then for lunch I had MORE LASAGNA. It was just one of those days where eating whatever was in the fridge had to happen πŸ™‚ This time I had it with some broccolini.

I was so snacky in the afternoon/early evening. I had an avocado, an orange, some fruit from an edible arrangement, and some potato chips (delicious, cooked in sunflower oil).
